We loved it here. The apartment was basic, but it had everything we needed and of course, lovely views.
Tom and Liz were really friendly and helpful, and not at all intrusive although their flat was next door to ours.
They gave us lots of helpful advice, on what to do and where to get what we needed.
We had free use of wifi and Liz even did some washing for us.

We thought it very good value for money and would certainly recommend it, but, as it says on their website, it isn't suitable for anone who can't walk up steep, sometimes slippery steps.

Castara itself is a quiet, beautiful village, but it has most of what you need, including a small fruit and vegetable stall just up the hill, and a handy beach bar just below the apartment .
On the other beach there is a really excellent restaurant with meals cooked to order as you watch the sun setting .

For more choice in food you supplies need to go to a bigger supermarket, but you can hire a car for £30 a day at the office below the apartment.
