We had a lovely stay at At Last Apartments. It was clean and spacious with a full kitchen, living room, air conditioned bedroom and a large bathroom. The bed was maybe a bit old and squeaky but otherwise the appartment was very comfortable. The courtyard overlooks the ocean and has a pool with lounge chairs and a garden with large picnic tables. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners out there listening to the waves.

To access the beach you have to go around the side of the property since the courtyard is closed in. On one side of the property is the very vast Turtle beach. There is one resort in the middle of the beach but most of it was empty with very few people around. If you are there during the right season you may even spot some turtles nesting. On the other side of the property there is a smaller span of beach that was completely deserted. About a 10minute walk away is Stonehaven Bay where there is a bit of snorkling and a restaurant/bar right on the beach. If you keep walking to the opposite end of Stonehaven Bay and up the hill you will find more dining option. For some great snorkling you can walk a little farther to Mt Irving Bay where the reefs start as soon as you walk in the water.

Just up the road from At Last (less than 5 minute walk) there are a few mini marts to buy some food if you want to prepare it at the appartment. The area felt safe and was quiet in a residential neighbourhood. Loraine was a nice host and even offered to drive us back to the airport for a fraction of the cost of a taxi.
