KITESURFING IN TOBAGO

Post by Orion Jakerov »

ive noticed kitesurfing is fairly new to Tobago, not many locals are involved, but the few who are have been into it since the very beginning.Being windsurfers prior to the new sport the five locals have made the transition over to kitesurfing.I'm a Canadian who grew up in Tobago surfing, kitesurfing and windsurfing and seen a lot of changes over the last few years.
ive met some pretty good local riders at the Tobago Carnival Regatta earlier this year and hope next year will be just as entertaining.
There are only two schools on the island the Tobago Kiteboarding Organization and Radical sports at pigeon point but that is quite enough to provide the tiny island with enough wind assisted sports to enjoy. I recommend looking them up if in Tobago.
