We stayed at Kapinjala in 2010 and vowed we would return. This year we did just that and were not disappointed. The villa has been maintained to a very high standard and the gardens have matured beautifully. We spent many an hour at the edge of the infinity pool overlooking the garden and out to Arnos Vale Bay. The view is simply stunning and you can walk down to the bay from Kapinjala's garden, steep walk but well worth the effort!
We had a day on Cocomotion with Marlon, snorkelling in the bays and BBQ on No Mans Land (still my favourite day out in Tobago) and Dave did his PADI training with Marlon too.
There are many restaurants to try but our favourites are The Seahorse, The Fishpot and The Steak and Lobster Grill which is a bit quirky but great food in a lovely setting. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen at Kapinjala is very well equipped and there is also a BBQ on which we cooked the most delicious lobster, washed down with a few rum punches! Shirls Chicken is great for a takeaway too.
The weather was beautiful, 31 most days so we spent much of our time laying round the pool or chilling on the sofas on the verandah watching the humming birds.
The villa is secluded, in a beautiful setting and furnished to a high standard which made for a really relaxing holiday. Stacey the housemaid looked after us very well and we had a lovely meal waiting on our arrival.
If you are hoildaying in Tobago, Kapinjala is the place to stay - stunning villa, stunning pool and stunning views!
We will most definitely return!
