Stunningly beautiful villa, set the hills above Arnos Vale Bay. The view from the pool terrace is fantastic.

It's only short drive to several nearby beaches and the main attractions of Crown and Pigeon Point aren't that far away.

The bed in the fourth bedroom, in the annexe, is quite small and not really suitable for larger couples who aren't on speaking terms.

A car is essential unless you plan on booking lots of taxis, as there's nothing of note within easy walking distance and it's not a location for those with mobility issues.

The only disappointment was the fact that Arnos Vale Hotel is now defunct. We were warned against venturing down because a couple of squatters living there - but we found them friendly.
The walk down hasn't been maintained - but we managed it on several occasions. Beautiful bay and the best snorkeling on the island.

The kitchen is starting to look a bit tired now and the crockery and cutlery are quite up to the standards of the property - but they're only minor gripes and shouldn't put you off staying.

A cleaner comes in every other day and there's a security guard on duty between 6pm and 6am.

Can't wait to go back.
