We were met from the airport and were taken directly to the apartment which was great after the long flight. Upon arrival, we were introduced to the lady managing the apartment who then gave us a guided tour. There was a food hamper in the kitchen with enough food to get us through the first few days which was really useful.


The location/view from the apartment was absolutely stunning. The pool area was a few steps away with quiet beach a few more steps away!

In the outside space there was a fantastic sized swimming pool with plenty of space for sun loungers. We were quite often the only people there so it was generally very quiet. When we did see people, who were predominantly residents, they were very helpful and friendly. There was also a very handy outdoor shower to use as you walked off the beach to get all the sand off.

Inside, the apartment was finished to a very high standard, with a huge living area and kitchen. The view from the main bedrooom was amazing with the sea only a 100 yards away. Leading off from the main living area, the terrace, which was also well sized, was a perfect spot for lunch & dinner and had a panaramic view of the whole beach whilst also being very private.

On the island, there was plenty to do (I'd recommend a hire car to get around though). There is vitually no public transport and taxi's were hard to come by. There was a very small shop about a 5 minute walk away but the best shop was a 10 minute drive away stocking most things you'd need. We found the locals very friendly and accomodating, particularly at the seahouse (hotel & restaurant a short walk away) where we were always given good advice. In fact for eating out we found the seahorse amazingly good value and the food was always great. We went to several restaurants during our stay and found all served good food and were great value for money.

All in all, this was one of the best holiday's we've been on and would we'd go back in a heartbeat. The accomodation was fantastic, along with the food, local people, and the island as a whole.
