We stayed at Mahi Mahi for just one week after meeting up with dear friends from Australia. We all enjoyed our stay at Mahi Mahi so much. The accommodations are very well kept, modern, clean, plenty of facilities in the kitchen. The bathrooms were spacious and spotless. Plenty of towels for both beach and apartment. The views from the balcony were stunning. A short walk through the garden gave us access to a wonderful beach. Very quiet for the most part, except for passing vehicles with loud stereo systems. Snorkeling right there with beautiful fish and coral. Warm clean sea and sand. We witnessed a leatherback turtle laying her eggs on the beach one evening. Easy walking distance to local grocery, restaurants, roadside fruit and veg and ATM. We even managed to work out how to use the excellent bus services. Buy a ticket from a lovely elderly lady next to the shops. Accomodations very reasonably priced for the excellent quality. Can easily accommodate 6 people. Cooking and BBQ facilities right there. We even had a local home cooked meal provided for us by one of the staff on request. Definitely a little piece of paradise!
