We, two adults and 2 teenagers (13 and 16) spent 2 weeks at Tamarind house from the 9th August 2010 and had an excellent time. The house and facilities are excellent and lived up to our expectations. The view from the veranda is the best I have ever had from a rented holiday property. The village, Parlatuvier, felt totally safe and very relaxed, everyone we meet was friendly and helpful. I spent a lot of time out fishing with a local fisherman which was really good but if you don’t fish fresh fish is available from the jetty everyday and it tastes great. The kids had a great time by the pool and snorkelling on from the beach. The walk in the rain forest with the gardener is also highly recommended. Even they said it was the most relaxing holiday they had ever had. If you are looking for a relaxing non commercial holiday this ticks all the boxes. Lesley the owner was brilliant answering all of my many questions very promptly and making the booking process very smooth.
