Baywatch Apartment provided our little family with a perfect home from home for the duration of our stay in Tobago, and the owners (Kurt and Ivy Eastman) proved to be the most exemplary hosts.

The apartment, patio and garden were very clean, well maintained, and a safe enclosed play area for our 2 year old. Unlike other accomodation our friends encountered in Castara, the apartment boasted h/c running water, AC, access to laundry facillities, and a choice of shaded garden and indoor dining areas that helped keep us all very comfortable. We had easy access to all amenities and attractions: Only 100 metres from the beach(and no uphill struggle back), 200m from 2 grocery stores, close to the better cafes and 15 minutes walk from the waterfall. Friends from other guest houses and cottages with fewer amenities and less favourable locations would gravitate to our apartment as 'basecamp' for the duration of the day

We were made very welcome and felt ourselves honoured guests of the Eastman household during our stay. We felt free to call on them at anytime we had a question or need. Our hosts were also very proactive in providing great service, picking us up at the airport in the early hours for the 1 hour drive to the village, buying a brand new visitor bed for our son (without complaint on our part regarding the exisiting one) and so on. I also have to say that Ivy is a wonderful cook.

When we return to Tobago, we hope to be staying at Baywatch.
