Chaconia is a first class place to stay in Tobago! The apartment is very secure, and excellently managed and maintained. It is extremely well equipped and its location - with direct access to a safe quiet beach - is superb. We particularly enjoyed the pool and watching the birds from our balcony. Theres a perfectly adequate store 10 minutes walk up the road, and a handful of good places to eat, but its an easy drive to shops, the airport, Buccoo (for Sunday school - great street food!) and most other facilities too.
We had stayed in Castara prior to our short stay at Black Rock, and were qute amazed at the contrast between the north part of the island and the south! Small though the island is, there is heaps to explore!
