Parletuvier is like something in a story book, a small quiet fishing village with not many tourists, and a near empty beach. The sea is rather difficult for a poor swimmer like me to get in and out of, but despite that I did swim every day, and a strong swimmer would have no problems. Seashell is right above the beach, and from the balcony you can sit and watch the birds diving into the sea for fish. It's an attractive wooden building, basic but comfortable and who needs luxury in a setting like that? As a vegan we were expecting to have to cook for ourselves every night, but there's a tiny restaurant at the other end of the beach, run by MissVee, who cooked us the most fabulous VEGAN meals - it's not often a vegan can say that! Everyone we met was so kind and friendly. Putting money in my piggybank to save up for our return next year.
