We have just returned from an idyllic two week holiday at Coco Reef, Tobago. Before booking the holiday we had two concerns – no safes in the hotel bedrooms (we did not relish the idea of traipsing to reception every time we wished to deposit or withdraw something from our safe) and the close proximity of the hotel to the airport.

We did email the hotel about the lack of room safes, so you can imagine our delight when we checked into the hotel and found that our room had been provided with a safe. As far as aircraft noise was concerned we need not have worried – neither in the hotel, its grounds nor on the beach.

Our bedroom was very well furnished and the bed very comfortable. The room was maintained to a high standard throughout our stay. The restaurants offered a wide choice of meals prepared to a high standard for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The bar service was excellent no matter how full the bars and the beach bar service was just icing on the cake.

This was our fourth visit to the Caribbean and our first to Tobago with its beautiful beaches and stunning rainforest. We have enjoyed all our holidays in the Caribbean but Coco Reef is undoubtedly the best hotel we have stayed in.

Above all the staff, from Eric Feniet the General Manager and throughout the hotel, were so friendly, competent, helpful and ever smiling. We soon felt at home, were sad to leave and can’t wait to return.
