We stayed at Boatview for 14 nights begining of March.
Well, what can one say? Very roomy, basic self catering apartments, with the largest, most comfortable bed we've ever had abroad. The apartments are fully equiped with full size gas cooker, and large two door fridge/freezer and are supplied with pretty well everything you need.
Bags of ventilation, a ceiling fan, and floor fan make A/C not needed.
Boatview is about 30 yards from Castara's Little Bay, as the crow flyes. Maybe 20 yards further walking. The views from the spacious balcony are fantastic, looking through the trees across to Big Bay.
Lots of birds and bats will visit for a supply of sugar water, and bananas.
Sharon and Brenton are very attentive and friendly hosts, and react very quickly to solve any problem. For example, when the mains water supply failed and their own six large tanks ran dry, they very quickly supplied lots of bottled water for drinking, cooking, and washing. And buckets of river water for flushing loos. A large road tanker of water delivered the same afternoon. Within three days three more large storage tanks were delivered and installed, to add to the six they already had. (fantastic speed for Tobago).
Little Bay has a lovely beach, and good snorkeling over the reef to the right of the beach.
The beech was never crowded during our two week stay. In fact on only one day were there more than ten people on the beech, and usually less.
We've been trying to think of something to criticize, and the best we can come up with is a lack of a salt and pepper set!
Sharon and Brenton are obviously well suited to the task they have set themselves (not forgetting Joey). We wish them well.
We are returning in January. I think that sayes it all.

Jack and Linda.
