This was our first stay in Castara, hopefully the first of many. The surroundings are beautiful, which matches the nature of the people.

Sharon was a welcoming and friendly host. The accommodation was simple, however, far more than adequate. Boatview must have one of the best views of the bay, which provided many lovely evenings.

Sharon also owns the Boatview restaurant which is really reasonably priced and provided many a great meal/night.

If you do decide to stay here and visit their restaurant try the chilli prawns and the delicious coconut bake.

Nearby boat trips (see Michael around and about) are also very memorable even when puncheon rum's involved.

Best holiday weve ever had and will definetly return soon.
