My wife and I are seasoned travelers and really enjoyed our stay at the Boatview for a week. Sharon our host was great-even when we discovered upon arrival that our pre-booked room was accidently already taken for the first night-she admitted her error and gave us that night free and we moved into the upstairs corner room (nearest the searview) which was the best room we figured. The overall place was very well situated for the village-walking distance to other places -as we chose to not rent any vehicle.
Castara itself was quiet as we expected and I really enjoyed being able to take a fresh water drip in the nearby trail up the river in addition of course to the beach itself-which although small was good but not the best beach we experienced on the island.
