I wondered if anybody had any idea of when the Tobago International Game Fishing Tournament is next year. I know that it is usually in March, but does anybody know the exact dates for next year?

in case you can't make it to "Captain Frothy's" tournament, there is another big tournament in Tobago in
April. Check www.ttgfa.com. Sea conditions are also usually calmer in April ...

Gill, The Tournament will be held from the 11th to the 14th of March 2010. Registration is on Wed. the 10th and usually ends at 5pm. Have you been there for the tournament before? Phil

Thank you so much for finding out. I looked on the web-site but I couldn't find anything out for the 2010 dates. I'll be able to get some accommodation booked now.
We have been there before for the tournament, although we actually stay in Castara. Our friend has invited Shaun to go with him next year.

Also thanks Andy for your info. I love Tobago in April, but the March competition is the one they want to do.

It'll be great to go back to Tobago next year. We went elsewhere this year, but we both missed Castara
