Flying Fish

Post by Paul Tallet »

I was watching 'Life' on BBC1 this evening and the sequence showing the Flying Fish appeared to have been filmed off the coast of Tobago ... the coastline certainly looked familiar in the background.

Anyway, for those that missed it ... the repeat is on next Sunday evening.

Oh how very really of you to say that David ... but nice to see that you are back to your best.

Speaking of Davids ... isn't Sir David Attenborough irreplaceable? I just cannot imagine watching these delightful programmes without the sound of his enchanting narration.

I am sure all penguins and, particularly, birds of paradise will realise that their stardom will wane as soon as Sir David hands up his vocal chords.

Take only photos - leave only footprints. I like that concept.

You can watch the episode on Youtube now that it is no longer available on BBC iplayer

you can watch the whole program by downloading the 6 parts of the program in the following order -

The final link is the best, with Life on Location showing how they filmed the flying fish sequences.

Steve,

i keep getting error messages from YouTube, saying "The URL contained a malformed video ID".
Is that my old browser or a problem at the source ?
