Rainforest Tour

Post by Mcculloch »

Having recently returned from a couple of weeks in Tobago, mostly in the north, I would like to recommend Wayne Grey to anyone wishing to do a rainforest tour. We did a section of the Gilpin Trail with him. He is a quietly spoken intelligent young man from Speyside. Our children (aged 18, 16 and 13) were not at first particularly excited to hear we were going into the rainforest, but were soon completely enthralled. The tour was taken at a moderate pace (not like some of the tour guides we saw rushing past us as if they were orienteering) and Wayne spent time in pointing out and explaining in quite a bit of scientific detail the many plants and birds we saw and how they fit into the ecosystem. A great experience, highly recommended! :D
