Scarlett Ibis in Tobago!

Yesterday on a boat tour we saw a Scarlett Ibis in the mangroves of the Lagoon. thought we share that with the bird lover among you all. last time alibaba remembers to have seen them in Tobago is about 30 years back. the picture is not the best, but proof it is :D

Wow!! We'll take your word on this since the picture quality is pretty poor. I'm gonna show some more birders this photo and see what they come up with. I must admit at first glance the bird looks like a peacock. If it is a Scarlet....WOW!! How cool!! Thanks.

my apologies for questioning the validity of your bird sighting. My friend's have confirmed the picture is of a rare Black-Headed Scarlet Ibis. :D
