Hertz Car Hire

Post by Stephen Wain »

No personal experience (other than sitting in it), but a colleague hired a Misubishi. It had 96,000 miles on the clock and arrived 30 minutes late. Half way around the Island it broke down.

Hertz replaced it within 90 minutes (this one had 76,000 miles) and there were no further problems.

Hi Stephen

Hertz do not have an outlet in Tobago as far as I am aware. They must be operating through a sub-contractor on the island. Would you know who that was (Airport Express?). I don't think you'll find that it's any of the "better" firms recommended on this site.

Don't wish to be pedantic, but you'll find that the mileage on T&T cars is in Kilometres, not Miles - so 96,000Km would actually be 60,000 miles. Still very high mileage by Tobago standards.
