Kids car seats...

Post by Marc Jones »

Hi,

anyone strapped a 2 year old into a hire vehicle?

if I make Tobago this year I'd need to get a seat with hire (if I indeed venture away from Castara at all!).

a lot of rentals have child seats, just check via mail before renting. for the accommodotion you and up with, some have one for the taxi from the airport as well. locals themselves don't use them much for their kids, but they understood that touristes want them... should be no problem

Sheppy's definately do child seats for cars, I saw them stacked up in his office when we were there last year.

Hi Marc

If you check the Yes Tourism car rental brokerage pages on http://www.yes-tourism.com/rental.htm you'll see that all their suppliers (which basically means the best rental agencies on the island) all offer child seats (US$5 per day).

Superb. Another bit of the puzzle falls into place.

Many thanks for the hints and help.
