The property was faded, with peeling paint on the outer walls. The sun bed covers were filthy and covered in grime. Noisy building work was taking place near the pool area, and this was at peak Xmas/New Year. The pool service did not exist. Service in the restaurant was poor, and the food indifferent and monotonous....actually shocking. The balcony doors and curtains to the room had to remain shut for security reasons, due to numerous thefts and the beach was down a long and steep set of stairs. The entertainment bordered on non-existent. When we complained and asked to be moved to a hotel of the correct standard we were told it would cost an addition substantial amount...so we stayed and suffered. After arriving home we successfully claimed a large sum from the holiday company by way of compensation. We were told initially that we had no cause for a claim, but threatened court action....suddenly they changed their minds. We would not reccomend this hotel. Many others were complaining, one woman actually burst into tears when telling the manager what she thought of the hotel !
