Our stay at The Branch was the icing on the cake for a perfect impromptu vacation. Our last minute getaway became a tasteful, secluded Honeymoon away from home. From the minute we called to make the reservation and explained our situation, we were well accommodated. Upon arrival, we were given a tour of the house which included, a recreation area, with an assortment of board games as well as a pool table. We were shown to our room which was beautifully decorated and very comfortable with the most breath-taking view of the island and the Atlantic Sea from our personal veranda. Breakfast each morning was very well prepared and delicious. Conversation with the most charming owners, Doc and Chief again set the like home feel. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of pre-packaged as well as homemade snacks, hot drinks and fresh fruit from the gardens available 24/7 during our stay. Our evenings were spent taking strolls through garden, relaxing in the Jacuzzi and pool. On our last night we enjoyed an intimate, delicious 5 course dinner as per our request prepared by our lovely hostess. Having read reviews before our visit, it was easy to think “too good to be true” but had lower expectations for such a last minute trip. However my husband and I had all of our expectations exceeded and we are so pleased to be able to add to the other sterling reviews of the Branch. Thank you Doc and Chief for a most enjoyable stay and we can’t wait to be back soon.
