We had seriously considered staying at the Conrado Beach Resort as the pictures and reviews looked good and the correspondence with the resort sounded like a place that we would like to stay. We decided to stay at the Crown Point Hotel instead (which we loved) as we were a little concerned about being a little out of the way at the Conrado. We did walk by it on our way to Pidgeon Point. We were not too impressed by the look of it from the road so we decided to go inside through the lobby and check it out. It seemed very old and run down and there really was no beach as it seemed all washed away perhaps due to the high tides they have been having. The dining area that we saw wasn't that impressive either, it was outdoors with plastic table and tub chairs, the view was good though. But in all fairness we can't comment on the rooms or the staff as we didn't acutally stay there and perhaps they were ok. For us though we were glad that we didn't stay there as it wasn't really what we were looking for in a place to stay.
