This hotel is really a bargain and great for those whose main objective is to save money. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic but clean. The complementary breakast includes toast, tea/coffee, fruit and scrambled eggs with bacon, omelette with meat or just veggies, pancakes. The bar serves great piña coladas, and the restaurant serves a tasty dinner, reasonably priced, out on the very pleasant veranda.

Walking to Pidgeon Point is incredibly fast and easy, but we also enjoyed swimming in the clear blue waters right in front of the hotel. There are a few fishing vessels parked there, and there are friendly dogs walking around, but we had no problem with either, as they add to the charm. We took one of the cheaper rooms facing the street, and yes, once in a while you hear a parrot squawking, but I find it charming. This is a budget hotel for a great price, near fabulous beaches, with very good amenities for the price. If your main objective is to try different restaurants, it might be better to look at an inn nearer Store Bay. But if you mostly want to veg out on beaches and not spend too much, then the Conrado is an excellent choice.
