The Conrado is right on a beautiful beach and it is a ten minute walk from Pigeon Point, a larger and similiarly gorgeous beach. It is a great deal for what you pay and a good location to be a launching point for enjoying the rest of Tobago. The hotel rooms are extremely simple, no frills, and basic but the rooms are clean. The bedding needs some updating. The rooms with the balcony overlooking the beach cost more but the view is magnificant and the balconey is really nice, on the street side the small balconies overlook a busy hot street and macaws and parrots that start screeching at 7 am.

A delicious and hardy breakfast every morning is included with the stay and the staff are all extremely nice and laid back. All the food we ate at the restaurant was delicious but they typically had only about 35% of the items listed on the menu and service is island-style slow and and laid back. There is also seating all along a beautiful porch right on the beach where meals are served and where guests can also just hang out - a huge plus for the hotel overall.

If you are not looking for luxary but want a decent price,clean rooms, good location, and friendly staff - I would definitely recommend the Conrado.
