Shepherd's Inn - a myTobago review

The ill-fated <em>Toucan Inn</em> was one of the most popular small hotels on Tobago. We were all shocked and disappointed when it closed in late 2014. The good news was that the premises were purchased a year later by Colin Shepherd, owner of Tobago's most popular car and jeep rental service, Sheppy's Auto Rentals. Following five months of refurbishment and repair, the new hotel - the Irwin Shepherd Hotel Tobago - opened at the end of March 2016 and we had the pleasure of staying there for a week at the end of that month. We were knocked out with the hotel and couldn't believe how they could have improved the old hotel so much, much less in such a short time.
