Hello Tobago-Fans!

When preparing my trip to Tobago I have been looking for books about the island. Beside one travel guide I found two german novels which are set on Tobago.

Bambaren, Sergio: Die Bucht am Ende der Welt (in english: The bay in the middle of nowhere)
It's about a man who find's out a lot about himself in Tobago. The story is very thin, but there are some details about Tobago and diving at Tobago that made me dream of it.

Jentzsch, Michael: Tobago - Kein Reiseführer (in english: Tobago - not a travel guide)
This is only a travel documentary. No story at all, but nice experience to join this people in their holiday.

I re-read both books after my holiday and had a lot of fun dreaming me back to tobago.

Do you know any other books?

Bye,
Nicole

La Magdalena by David Phillips is a history of the island from 1498 to 1898. Very interesting reading.

Enjoy, Hugh 8)

Swiss Family Robinson - Johann David Wyss - not really set up in Tobago, but one of the Disney Pictures were shot in Tobago. Maybe you get the feeling...

V.S. Naipul - set in Trinidad.....

Caribbean Capers and Tropical Tantrums!: Two Weeks in Tobago by our very own Carol Townsend. It was a lovely read.

'Til the Well Runs Dry: A Novel by Lauren Francis-Sharma. I'm in the process of reading it, though its set in Trinidad. So far so good!
