can anyone give me some help with where to stay next year. we were going to book Sandy Point Village for Feb 2004, but have recently read some poor reviews. 2 well travelled adults and 2 quite well travelled kids (6 & 10) need your help !!

Are you staying at Sandy Point VILLAGE or Sandy Point BEACH CLUB? The beach club is fantastic. Simple but comfortable accomodations. What makes it truly special is the wonderful staff who go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Also great location with fabulous sunset views.

The village is another story. On a recent trip, 6 members of our party stayed at the village while we stayed at the time share beach club. The village accomodations are spacious and nice, but lacking certain amenities. No coffee pot, for example. Our friends told us the staff were on the whole aloof and some were downright rude. The restaurant, however, is quite nice and the food is good. They also have a nice pool. I'd say if the service improved it would be a nice place.
