Love it, love it, love it We have been going to Tobago since 1998, and have stayed at the Toucan Inn each time apart from the first time when we stayed at the Tropikist, we were told by another guest at Toucan Inn how lovely it was and have stayed there every time since. Whats not to like, it really is a beautiful little oasis.

Yes the island is (like every island) a lttle quiet just now, the people are amazing, they do not pester you they are helpful and friendly without being pushy. It is safe to walk around, with out fear, yes like everywhere in the world Tobago has issues, but in the 14 years we have been going we have never encountered any problems, but we treat locals like the lovely human beings they are, all I would say is be as careful as you are at home.

The staff at Toucan Inn are really lovely and when we return we are treated like family, the place just has a lovely intimate feel to it. The Manager Troy is amazing, his main priority is in making sure the guests are happy, the rooms are all Air conditioned and have safes in each room.
The bedlinen is immaculate, also the towels there are no staines, the Garden rooms are big approx. 18 x 18 plenty of room for clothes etc. shower rooms are spacious, I would recommend Cabanas round the pool for young people or single people, all rooms are cleaned daily and towels changed daily, beds changed every other day. The beds are incredibly comfortable.

Chris and Jim the owners of Toucan Inn have been there since they built it 17 years ago, they work very hard to keep the ambience as it is, we have over the years taken many friends and family out to Toucan Inn and everyone has returned at least once some as many as 9 or 10 times. Tells you all you need to know really !!!!! come and try it. The Toucan Inn's title is Toucan Inn and Bonkers, you would have to be Bonkers not to try it. ENJOY !!!!!
