We have just spend a lovely 14 days at the Toucan Inn in a poolside Cabana.

Lots of good points and a few bad

Staff were 98% fantastic and friendly, Troy (manager)going out of his way to make sure all is well.

Accommodation was comfortable and well maintained except for a noisy A/C unit

Food, Breakfast and Lunch excellent; Dinner, from the supurb to the poor, but mainly very good. As AI gusts I would like to see a change of menu every 7 days. Had a terrific steak one night.

The restaurant gets busy with outside diners so service can be a little off later on, 7:30 seemed to suit us fine and service was always good then.

Biggest complaint was that the bar closes at 11pm with the restaurant. (Lights out ...the lot)

On holiday especially AI I do not want old fashioned British pub hours, I think it is a major weakness and needs to be addressed if it is to stay in UK brochures.
Not sure AI was a good choice here.

Early closing did force us to visit the nearby Iguans Bar, good bar man Dave, potent drinks and good entertainment on some nights.

Overall though we enjoyed the Island and enjoyed the Toucan Inn
