Our stay in Tobago and especially in Toucan Inn was superb. The island was one of the best holidayplaces ever (and we have travelled a lot). We enjoyed our stay in Toucan Inn. The hotel was near everything, the food was excellent, people friendly. Everything was "no problem". All stuff was smiling and helpfull. We felt like home. The small garden was very well kept and pleasing. We also enjoyed all kind of birds flying around the garden. It was able to make tea or coffee in own room, so we had every day our "five o'clock tea" outside in garden. Lot of birds and small lizards were our friends while eating, begging sweet sugar or marmelade.
In lobby Christine was one of the best managers we have ever met. She run the place so easily, smiling, doing all kind of work including helping in restaurant, if needed. Mr Blackmore aka Mr B was running taxibusiness in lobby, too. He was a great gentleman, stylish and polite. We had great time with him going around.
The manager of the restaurant, unfortunately I can't remember his name, made us feel very comfortable and he really know, how to work.
We will come back some day, for sure and the hotel will be Toucan Inn.
