Well what can we say this is our second visit to the Toucan as in the same amount of years and we are still in love with the place and the people.
We spent 3 weeks here last summer and again this summer and were made to feel so welcome. Christine is a gem for helping to sort anything out and where would we be with out Hochoy pouring the caribs he is our star. William, Melissa and Hilda were all great too.
We stayed in a pool room both years and although slightly smaller than the garden rooms they are comfortable, clean and we feel have character.
The food is excellent lots to choice for breakfast and the evening menu has a good selection cooked well by Thomas.
The manager Troy is a real gentleman and is there helping his staff on busy evenings and is always attentive to the customers.
This hotel is an oasis in the main town and although close to the airport (we found this a bonus) you don't really notice any aircraft noise at all. The Toucan is located on a quiet road but close enough to beaches, car hire, shops and just about everything you could need for your stay, but while all things are close by make sure you get to see what the rest of the island has to offer.
We hope to return to Tobago and The Toucan Inn again next year, fuel costs allowing!!
