This trip was by far one of our favourite vacations and our experience in Charlotteville was the cherry on top of the delicious dessert that is Tobago. Not only was our room at Top River Pearl comfortable and clean, but Rainer (the owner) and Noel (the manager) went out of their way to make our honeymoon in Charlotteville extra special.

Our first evening began with a delicious dinner, made by Noel, which highlighted some of the local cuisine. We were given the opportunity to learn about the community and local life as we became more engaged with the Top River Pearl staff. The mornings began with a mug of Rainer's specialty-crafted cappuccino while taking in the view of the azure sea and listening to the village soundtrack as it started to wake. If you are a lover of hummingbirds, this is a place to feast your eyes on the varieties that visit this guesthouse, or perhaps a better word for it would be 'home'.

If you get a chance, take a look at Noel's artwork, a token that each family member and friend received on our end as a symbolic appreciation for the memories that we behold from our experiences with him and Rainer. The connections that these two have to the community and local life of Charlotteville is invaluable if you are looking to depart from the typical tourist experience.

We are so thankful that our last taste of Tobago was here, in Charlotteville, because the sweetness of it made us want to come back for more!
