Charlotteville is just what we wanted. A quit, very friendly fishing village with great beaches. Pirate's Bay, a 5 min walk from the city center is known as one of the most beautiful beaches in Tobago, and that is a fact. The shore line of Man o'war bay is rooming several bars and eating places. It should though be mentioned that during the off-season not all of these are open.

Top River Pearl is the perfect accomodation to explore the wonders of Charlotteville. It is suitated up in the hill sides of Charlotteville overlooking the stunning view of Man O' War Bay. Top River Pearl has four rooms for 2 - 4 persons and is surronded by a lush garden. We rented a room for two persons on the upper floor. The room was spacious and very nicely decorated, including a king size bed. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was suprisingly good. The private balcony overlooking Man O' War Bay did fit room for a table and two chairs. Ideally to enjoy the view of Man o' War Bay during breakfast prepared in you well equipped Kitchenette. That being said you can also enjoy breakfast down at the cafe. Chef Mary prepares one of the best meals in town, and the breakfast, or lunch, is served together wth the best coffe you could get in Tobago. The coffe is imported directly from a small coffe rostary in Trinidad. During the time we spent here wireless internet was installed making it possible to check your e-mail while sipping your well tasting cappucino. It must also be mentioned that the owner and his staff was very helpful and friendly. We would recommand this place to anyone and would definetly stay here the next time we visit Charlotteville.
