Weather in April

Post by Alexandra »

Hi there,

My Fiance and I are flying to Tobago on 11th April for 2 weeks, we are getting married at Le Grand Courlan (a bit worrying after all the bad reviews, but we shall see!).

Anyway, can you tell me what sort of weather is likely for this time of year? Do we need to pack our factor 8 sun cream or our wellies and rain macs!

I look forward to your reply.

Alexandra :)

Hi Alexandra

April is probably the safest time of year being right in the middle of the 'said' dry season ... you could not pick a safer time ... April, May and June are probably the best 3 months to avoid rain.

You will always get rain but you should not expect deluges on the scale of recent events.

But there are always exceptions and we can always get caught out.

It was not too good in April last year but then 2004 has been quite an exceptional year for Tobago, not to mention many other countries around the world that are experiencing increasingly bizarre weather conditions.

Hope this helps.
