Driving To Castara

Post by Sean Hubbard »

Hi,

my family and I are travelling to Tobago in August and staying in, Castara. What roughly would be the driving time from

Crown point to Castara? Just cant remember from the last time I drove it.

Thanks.

It's about 45 minutes if you take the central route past Scarborough.

If you take the scenic route along the coast via Mount Irvine it can be between 60 and 75 minutes.

Thanks Paul,

ok excellent, a lot quicker than I remember, although at the time our destination was Speyside and we were stoping at

beaches along the way for swims and stuff.

Thanks, Sean.

Sounds like Paul likes to fly low instead of driving
45 Mins. is for locals who know every corner going up government house road / north side road, and provided
there is very little traffic coming up from Crown Point and in the Scarborough area.

Yes, I was thinking that. Paul has has got his driving in tune with the locals :D . Although the driving in Tobago was haphazard at times it was not too bad, however POS was a totally different ball game i.e. madness
