Our recent stay at Toad Heights was excellent. We found ourselves coming to Castara on a short notice fishing trip. I e-mailed several different places but nobody returned our inquiry. However Stephen returned our inquiry right away and we made arrangements for the stay. The house was roomy and clean. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well laid out. The only negative was the 5 AM rooster wake-up call followed by the barking mountain dogs. Castara is in the countryside and these are just part of the mountain lifestyle.
I would definitely stay there again.
