My family has been staying at Merles house since 2007, We enjoyed our stay there so much that whenever anyone asked we recommend Merles house, we have become personal friends with the owner and his son, who are quite nice as everyone stated his daughter has a attitude that can really turn ppl off, she does not show any appreciation for what her father is trying to do ( usual with black head chicken). But other than that the place is really a home away from home, were you can really enjoy a vacation.
Its a way away from everything, Pennysavers the grocery is just out the road, Store Bay an Pigeon point beaches about 20mins away.Not to far is also Rosie's bakery for nice breakfast on mornings. Merles house is the best.
