We spent 2 weeks in Tobago, based in Seascape for the whole time. The location is fantastic - the views are second to none and it was fab waking up to the view of the beach each day and hearing the sounds of the sea.
The facilities in the apartment catered to all the needs of our family of 4, including 2 young girls of 5 and 8. Our girls loved being so close to the beach, which was excellent for swimming, snorkelling and generally messing about in!
They also loved a number of visitors we had in the apartment - birds, lizards and even a bat in the day (Mr Batty, as named by my 5 year old!). We even saw fireflies right outside the window!
Rollin and his wife were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The transfers to and from the airport were well managed.
The snorkelling was great - we even saw a turtle and stingrays amongst a large variety of colourful fish.
Buying fresh tuna from the fishermen is a must, as is a swim in the waterfalls.
We travelled around to other parts of the island, but Castara was, in our opinion, one of the nicest parts and we were glad we chose to spend the whole time there.
Castara itself was lovely, although the cafes opening times were irregular. We had read some reports that locals weren't friendly, however, we found everyone to be very friendly.
We spent a day with Alibaba on a boat tour, which was great and would highly recommend a trip with him.
We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Castara and especially Seascape - we loved every minute of our stay.
