Sad News - Tragic Car Accident

Post by Steve Wooler »

It is with very deep sadness that I am informed of a serious motor accident in Parlatuvier, on Sunday evening.

A German family, who had just arrived on the Condor flight, were making their way to Parlatuvier in a self-drive rental vehicle. The aged female driver apparently lost control while descending the hill into the village and the vehicle crashed into the church. The driver died at the scene and two passengers were seriously injured.

I am sure our readers will join me in sending our condolences to the family and our very best wishes to those injured.

A Very Sad Thing, I´d read about it in the papers! I just hope that those who are at the Hospital will not be too serious injured. At least the new Hospital is very good compared with the old one in Scarborough!

As all cars here are right-hand-drives, that might had bee a part of the fatal accident. And the road up there isn´t exactly a highway-road.

the information in the papers did not appear quite right... the sad news that the woman died is true though. the reason for the accident must have been a different one than not be used to drive on the left since the woman was actually a german citizen but resident of trinidad... does not make it better, just dont want to scare of tourists for the wrong reason!
