A Brit living in Tobago

Post by Steve9271 »

As a previous visitor to Tobago and a lover of the ocean and tropical islands, I have a dream of retiring in Tobago (a good few years away :D )

I'm just curious to know if this is possible? And any advice etc. Is Tobago property expensive? Would I worry about break ins etc etc

Many thanks,

Steve

It is, of course, possible - depends on how many hoops that you plan on jumping through :D

i've been here as tourist, resident, work permit holder, business proprietor, general waster etc since 1989. this includes lengthy periods without leaving the island but also, since covid, a prolonged absence.

message me with specific questions and i'll give you such information as i have or have experienced

Hi Paul, I'm intrigued by your response, as I'm in a similar situation, and I'd love to ask you some questions too, if that's Ok?

I'm a trini that lived in NYC for 35 years and bought a house in Tobago, working remotely and on the road to retirement. You can also ask away.
