Hi Steve

I have a sense that someone can supply the shirts but he/she is certain that T&T is going to give Bahrain a good slapping this weekend.

As a consequence ... what happens :-k ?

The prices go up ... happy to pay ... providing the revenues go to the right places.

Cheers ... looking forward with confidence.

Just returned from Tobago, it was wonderfull! All positive things mentioned on this forum are true! Except for one "rain will never last for long..." It rained for 3 days in a row, and not just liquid sunshine, the argyll waterfalls would have been jealous..

Steve, could not reach you to bring me an umbrella  ...

Nevertheless, the rain did not spoil one minute of our fabulous stay on an great Island!

Nita

You were unlucky with the rain ... it does happen for 3 days ... but rarely.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday ... there is so much to do in Tobago that plenty can be saved for a rainy day or 2 (or 3  ).

Hi David

We're out from 2nd February and starting with two weeks in Castara. I believe you are there at the same time, aren't you? If so, keep you eyes peeled for us. Jill will probably be on the beach most days, but I tend to be 'in doors' most of the time bashing the keyboard writing the reviews.

Have a great trip - I know you will.

David

It has been a little showery over the last few days and will continue to shower from time to time this weekend.

These are trade wind showers and not unusual and the rain can fall for longer periods overnight ... it is looking like less showers after this weekend as the moisture decreases ... but showery or not, this is 'Liquid Sunshine' and should not cause you any problems !

Give my regards to Ancle ... I am sure he is making you feel welcome and that your fridge is stocked well with the necessary refreshments.

Im glad to know that if there is any rain at all it will be LIQUID SUNSHINE :)

Im in Trinidad (south of the island) and its bright, sunny and windy. Tomorrow I travel to Tobago and hope to have no rain for the weekend :).
Anyone has any ideas what the waves at Store Bay are like now?

Hi A Ali

Yes it is beautiful in the south of Trinidad ... but you could get a little Liquid Sunshine as you go north and into Tobago where some wispy areas of moisture are forming from a westerly jetstream passing close to the north.

I sense from the weather conditions that the waves should be quite strong but the usual source of information that I seek has been closed down recently so I cannot check that my senses are true.

Anyone that can tell us what the waves are like ... David Watkins is the closest one to any Beach ... David ... full report please ... ?

Hello every body, greetings from Castara big bay beach!!!!At the moment it is overcast wth a few blue patches so it is looking up.We have had some v.heavy rain in the past three hours(it is 9am here)followed by,what I can only call tropical drizzle. The sea is actually quite calm, what wave there is,is at most 18in to 2ft and breaking quite close in.Something I have noticed is that the water is noticably colder this year.Bye for now,
David :D

Good morning from Castara, the weather is about the same as yesterday :( ,but yesterday it did clear up to give a pleasant afternoon, so fingers crossed :) .The sea is rougher than yesterday, unsuitable for little'uns I would say.

Any signs of a White Christmas David?

No White stuff in the UK for Christmas ... but it I sense there will be plenty of it around after Boxing Day ... those taking flights from the east and south UK and northern Europe next week should keep an eye on the weather forecasts.

If you are returning from Tobago to Europe next week ... no worries, there could be an extension to your stay!!

That's the way I like it
