Good evening to my fellow Old Codgers!
Gill, :D
Good to hear from you again! Glad things are tickety-boo ( why on earth did that expression pop into my head?) with you.
Bill and Gill/Gill and Bill,
I've just found my spoof bodice-ripper under a pile of old clothes and newspapers in the attic, and I'm afraid I'm not happy with it at all. I'm going to subject it to a complete re-write, so patience please children while I crank up the brain cell(s).
Not promising anything, but if I ever get to the end I'll try and make it into a real book, printed on paper an' all!
Love
Noe

If your brain cells are not activated by the thought of poor librarian Cherry it shows firstly you need to keep doing the training and secondly I can't be as gaga as you ! Seriously, do keep going with it, you gave us all a chuckle.

Bill
You really are my little ray of sunshine !

Gill
Did you mean us meeting up ? Can't recall a Linda but correct me if I'm wrong, which is more than likely.

OK folks re-write begun!
Sandra, I'm very flattered that you remember wot I writ so far, which is more than wot I do.
I'm going to take out some of the My Tobago "in" jokes as anyone else reading it (like my non -Tobago - visiting friends) won't get it.
See you in six months...

Hi Sandra, Clearly my brain is still in hibernation #-o .Yes I did mean you. I assume you are probably staying around the Pigeon Point area again? and I will be in Bon Accord close to the Bamboo Mile, the Chinese restaraunt and Shades. Its no distance and I am sure we could enjoy a few alchopops together :D
I am sure you and your family are getting excited now, I know I am, I am behaving like a big kid myself.Must be nearly time to get the suitcase out of the loft and I am really looking foreward to my first flight on the plane so eloquently described by David as Dickie's Virgin
I'm trying not to worry about the exchange rate too much but anticipate a bit more self catering going on.Yeah, I know its only money so may as well have fun in the sun eh?

Hi Gill
Be great to meet up ! How long are you there ? We are staying in Cambee - have wheels, can travel. I'm not too fussed about the exchange rate to be honest as last year some of our best meals were those I cooked ! Well, cooked is a misnomer, threw the fish on the barbie. As long as rum and beer are within budget I shall be one happy bunny.

Chin up David,
It's St Piran's Day!
At least you know that all being well, you will go back as Tobago is so much a part of your life that you build your year around it. You are lucky to have somewhere to retreat to that you love so much, and have the freedom to do so.
At least you will now have more time for waffling. (What's that you say? Work? WORK?)
Love

Aw poor Eyore! :(
Come and have a big cuddle from Auntie Noe. I'll make you some nice hot carrot juice and put a drop of rum in it. How's that?
Reminds me of the time we went on a boat trip from Tresco to St Agnes. The idea was to have a nice hot chocolate laced with rum sitting outside the Turks Head, but someone had tipped off the rain gods so the heavens opened the very second that we arrived at the jetty. We were soundly beaten in the famous Turks Head Cup Two Hundred Yard Dash (I think some people must have been on steroids) so couldn't get in the door. We spent the next hour shivering and squashed into the cafe with a cup of tea instead, watching the rain cascading down the window. That was all we saw of St Agnes.
Springs coming and the sap's rising. Our resident robin has found herself a partner and we're waiting for our hibernating hedgehog to wake up. Be of good cheer,
love
Auntie Noe

Hi David and Wecome Back.

Never mind... it'll soon be spring... and then summer... and then you'll be packing your bags again.

I'm surprised that a man with your enormous brain power hasn't yet found a way to remain in paradise. Can't you find a nice 'Bagonian lady who'd be willing to marry you?

Gotta go... work calls.

Tony

Hi Tony, there are plenty that would oblige....however in no time mummy, auntie granny and relations long lost in the distant pass would coming to our(her)door. And anyhow I like my independence.
But have no fear I am working on it.
