Based upon the regular cast of 'The Waffle' at least one of the things you don't worry about has actually occured

Now that I have achieved 'Anorakness' (is there such a word?) you will have to treat me with the respect my new title deserves
Not being privy to English sitcoms I really don't know which one would closest resemble 'TheWaffle' but I'm sure some of the other cast members will be chiming in shortly.

HELLO!
I thought I should introduce myself here, on Carol's Waffle thread as, apart from Tony G and David none of you know me, but I've been lurking here for years so I feel like I know all of you
My name is Janette and I'm Mrs G, got married in Tobago, on Mount Dillon overlooking Castara Bay, in Feb 2007. It could only have happened in Tobago! I'm looking forward to my 4th visit to Tobago and 3rd visit to Castara early next year and perhaps meeting up with some of you.
David, I'm sorry to hear about your stroke and hope all is good now. Are you going to be fit for a Donkey Trek next year?!
