David, Are you really going to answer? Last year I had 3289087 which I tried off and on for a month and a half and never got you. I will be getting in on Jan. 2 and as always staying in Charlotteville till April. Will you be in Castara for some of your stay? After many years maybe this will be the year we meet. Phil

This has been a tough year for most of us, both in Tobago and around the world, so let's relax, enjoy the Festive Season, try to think good of our fellow man and keep our fingers crossed that 2010 brings fresh hope!

There is always hope with a smile ... but I am beginning to tire of collecting reindeer droppings from my roof and garden every year ... re-sealing my chimney ... getting woken up by lonely old men singing 'Ho Ho Ho' in the middle of the night ... finding gift wrapped items in my living room that surely belong to someone else ... excited children and, finally, being forced against my will to stuff a huge bird and watch it cook in my oven for 4 hours.

As soon as a stop is put to all these things then I am sure progress can be made

OK, so now all the festive stuff is out of the way I can start thinking seriously about our arrival on the island in 32 days.

A question for Ali Baba Brian:
Will you be doing off-road tours this February? It's one thing I'd really like to do and, for some reason that I can't remember now, you weren't doing them last time we were in Castara, (can it really be two years ago?).

Thought I would just wish all of you a really Happy New Year, Leita and I are in Hanoi at the moment and I could not imagine we could be anywhere that is as different from Tobago, it's great but in a way that is hard to imagine.
Hope everyone gets what they want in 2010 (I know for a lot of you that means visiting the beautiful island)
