Rex turtle beach is good for seeing turtles. We went over easter hoping to see turtles) and saw 4 or 5 in the 2 weeks we were there. the hotel will call you when ones spotted if you ask them - i.e. 2am, but we found many were coming up quite early in the night. 2 nights before we left we were very luck to have one laying it's eggs right outside the hotel in the lights. It's amazing the distances the turtles travel and the hardships they go through but it's something any nature lovers really should see

I think i can see a problem developing here. I am staying in a villa in Mount Irvine for the 2 weeks, so i won't have one of these "turtle spotters" to give me a call. However there aparently is a handyman at the villa who as the villa owners put it is the "Del Boy" of Tobago! Maybe he will have someone in the know.

If anyone else is going to be there from July 31st please feel free to e-mail me!

If Harris McDonald knows you want to see a Turtle, and he knows where you are staying, he will come to get you when one appears on the beach. He did this the night we were out with him, he dropped us at the beach and then took off around the crown point area picking up other people who he knew wanted to see a turtle. Harris can be found on Store bay in Crown Point most days, he is the head lifeguard.

Have a great time!!
