Is the food really that bad at Tropikist? I want to stay there next month. A co worker of mine was there recently and she loved it. I'm thinking a deluxe room $750TT a night with breakfast is good and its only costing me $250TT extra a night to be on an All Inclusive basis. I plan to relax mainly by the pools and visit Storebay. So should i stick with the AL?? Any advice?

Hi Laura
Recommending restaurants or commenting on catering is always so difficult because everyone's taste and preferences are so different. However, this should be an easy one to answer in your case. Talk to your coworker about the restaurants in Trinidad that she likes. If you like the same restaurants, then you are probably going to agree with her that the Tropikist is OK.
Have a great holiday and please let us know what you think of the Tropikist. I believe they are really trying to improve the hotel since our readers "outed" them, so lets give them full credit if they are listening and doing something about things.
