Hi all,
the 'childrenshomeappeal' sounds good. Would be a good idea to support. Though I'm going to Tobago for a couple of years I know some people and was asked for school bags. As far as I know clothes and any kind of books or of booklets or coloured crayons are welcome. The idea to go to the churches is the best I think.
And snorkeling masks sound also a good idea like Lyn wrote. The islands are not poor but there are still some children who need support (like almost everywhere). For me it sounds a good idea to bring some gifts but the best thing is lo leave your money with the local restaurants, shops and operators.
Have a peaceful Christmas
