Are you girls traveling by your in january? if yes, just be careful with local guys. if they pretend to like u more then others, just don't believe them. especially those boys offering boat tours. All they want is money. You will never realise at the beginning. They are so gentle and very friendly and telling you that you are so beautiful and somebody special. Once you start to get in love they will tell you they will come to visit you in your country.......and blablabla... There are a few beachbums and the know exactly how to get a woman....and her money in the end!!!

Lydie, thanks for the advice! Fortunately I'll be traveling with my husband and we are sort of spending our late honeymoon, we got married in July. But still I got a clue what you are talking about. Thanks!

So no problem for you Johanna. So you won't get in troubles. Apart from that Tobago is such a wonderful place I am sure you will like it.

Hi Lydie and thanks for your advice. Nor am I travelling to Tobago alone but with my boyfriend. A trip is best enjoyed with someone to share the memories with.

Johanna, we will probably run into each other then since we share one week at least in Castara together. :P

Hi Maja!

Yes I think we'll probably meet in Castara. Scandinavian people are not hard to spot...blond hair, blue eyes etc. Yes, that's me! My swedish is really bad but I know it when I hear it :)

May I be curious where are you guys staying at?

Johanna,

My wife and I will be in Castara Jan 15 thru 19 staying at Seabreeze. Even though we're probably old enough to be your parents (or grandparents) we'd love to meet you. We don't want to hang out with old people like David all the time :!:

Bill,

I'd love to meet you. I'm always up for meeting new people. I'd rather hang out with people who are old and wise rather than young and stupid
I just wonder which group I fall into :?

Johana,

You got it half right - I'm old and you're young (and from reading your posts definitely not stupid). We'll stay in touch through the forum and when we get closer to arriving set something up.

Steve,

I am humbled

David,

Be careful when we meet, I now have the backing of the Big Kahuna

Seabreeze!!! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D Sorry David. :P

From the 23rd of january and two weeks forward. Haha and might I add, I don't look swedish at all, nor does my boyfriend, might be because our parents originally aren't from Sweden. I have dark brown hair and green eyes and his eyes are brown as well as his hair. Perkkele to that hey?

Where are you staying Johanna?

About the age thing... The general impression I get from Tobago are that it's visitors are middle-aged, am I right about this?

I myself don't care what age people are. As long as people are open-minded, friendly and enjoy a nice chat they're ok, in my book at least :)

Maja,

I think everybody who visits Tobago is "young at heart." If not before they arrive definitely by the time they leave 8)

Bill, there's no need to be so damned personal and embarass me by referring to the size of my Kahuna's. I thought we had agreed that the view from under the table could be deceptive.

Bill,

You wouldn't believe how low this site can go on occasion! (But it's all in the best possible taste - thank you Kenny Everett!)

Jane,

I may have missed some of those previous low points. Perhaps you could point them out to me

May I ask who Kenny Everett is and what his relation is to "taste" ?

Thanks, Bill
